Heat shields for Edelbrock headers

It seems impossible to access spark plugs without removing the Edelbrock header heat shields. Are there other heat shields available which allow better access to the plugs?

I am considering cutting out a larger plug access area in the existing heat shields.

Stock heat shields as per Chuck Tator! No issues with plugs.

Agree, the stock shields can be reshaped - they seem to be layers of foil and cardboard. When I put Gen 2 exhaust on my Gen 1, I just rebent the Gen 1 shield to fit.
