My Car is Stuck. I set the alarm when I parked the car. Now when I tried to disarm the alarm and start the car- I could not shut the alarm off. The horn blows and the system shuts the car down.

I tried changing the batteries in the transmitter, but that did not help.

Any Advise, please.

Can't guarantee this will work, however, it worked on my 96 GTS.

First, there was a bad trunk switch so the VTSS was not fully arming. The keyfob only appeared to lock the doors.

Then on day, it would not unlock the doors. I entered manually and the car would start and run for only a couple of seconds - the computer was shutting the fuel down because if thought it was being stolen.

I disconnected the battery overnight. When I reconnected it, the alarm was disarmed and the keyfob would not work.

So far I haven't fixed the problem however. But this might get your car started.

Well, I tried like heck() to get the car started. Man that security system can be a *****.

I ended up towing it to a local Dodge Dealer with a certified Viper tech.

I will keep you posted. THANKS - Jeff

Tom- No it did not work.

I am goin in, wish me luck. This may be an eye opener. Hope they are Viper friendly at the local Dodge Dealer.

I am afraid I have no room for indifferent service techs.

I'll keep you posted.

I left one thing out.... when the battery was disconnected, I disconnected the C and D row connector from the VTSS module.

I then reconnected it, and then the battery.

Who knows, maybe that was the trick thing!

I hate this stuff! You own the car and it thinks you are trying to steal it!
