Help, Red with Sliver Stripes or Red with White Stripes?

Can't decide,

Car is at Dougs shop. While there, I"m striping it. Always wanted the "silver" stripes, but now leaning towards white stripes for a more "****" look.
White or Silver?

I'm going thru the same decision process on a '98 GTS. I leaning towards the silver stripes - still you can't go wrong either way.

Hey Gerald,
Well, I would definitely go with the silver. They look just beautiful on the red, that is my favorite stripe combination. The silver stripes are more unusual, they look classier, have more 'shine' than the white because they are usually metallic (metalflake) appearing. I just like the silver better. Just my opinion, whatever you decide, as long as you like it, that's all that matters. Good luck

I am partial to silver since mine came from he factory that way. White is probably more bold, whereas I think silver looks more refined. All in what you like.You can get silver decals for the rear which also looks great (along with chrome for the side) I think before 01, they had made at least 50 or so in that combo-so rare but not all that rare.

Naturally I'm partial to the Silver. It is more impressive in person than the photos show.

I think in all years there are slightly over 100 with this combination (Red with Silver).

First you had a black Viper, then you had to get a red Viper like me. Then you wanted silver stripes, now you want white stripes like me. As flattering as that is, you can't get white, I have white. You have to get silver. OC is right, you idealize me and live vicariously through me. I expect that from those who are terminally married, but your single. You need to live your own life.

Not counting ACRs, I come up with about 102 GTSs with red/silver, but I'm not sure I can figure out 99. I will ask Jay.

Including ACR's and GTS's there were about 42 Red with Silver Stripes in '99. It's the second longest running color combo available form the factory '98 to '02 (of coarse red with no stripes being longest running color).

It doesn't matter what color you go with, they both look GREAT! Just do it.

Yes, let me clarify - in 1998 there were 13 factory painted Red with Silver Stripes... After that, I'm sure many more were done... I was only talking about 1998 (which was the only year I knew about)...
