Help with a Dodge VIN history report

I am looking at a 1999 RT/10 that is red. The owner is not 100% sure on it's repaint history, only saying that is looks original to him. Carfax and autocheck both are clean, but neither say what color it is. The local Dodge dealer ran a history report on it and everything look as expected except in the Vehicle Info area; it says:

Color 1X3 - Viper Black Clear Coat

Color 2:QX3 - Viper Black Clear Coat

Am I correct to assume this means it left the factory as a black car? Can anyone tell me this for sure?

If you can see the car, check out the paint code on the driver's door jamb. If you can't see it, ask the current owner to email you a photo of the door jamb showing the VIN and paint code.
