HELP!

I just drove my 96 RT/10 home and to my amazement even with the car turned off the fan keeps running. It's been 20 minutes and its still going strong. Any ideas what's causing this guys.....more importantly how do I stop it?

I will really appreciate your advice.

Sounds like a relay is stuck, not sure where they are but you could probably start pulling them one at a time and see which one makes it stop. Pull the fuse if you don't have time to diagnose right now.

Some Vipers have had aftermarket fans/radiators installed to help cool the car after it has been shut off. If you are not the original owner, there is a chance someone before you installed one of these aftermarket fan. If that is not the case, try starting the car and shuting it off. If that doesn't work disconnect the battery and call Chuck Tator in the morning.

The aftermarket Fan controllers can only be programmed to run the fan for a maximum of 10 Minutes after the car is turned off..Pull your fuse to stop the fan.

My Roe fan controller does not have the timer so it can run indefinitly until the battery dies if not careful...

Steve it goes off when the car goes under the targeted temp right?
