Greetings Everyone,

This years VCA CFL Holiday Party is being held on the SS Rivership Romance for a 3 hour tour on the St. Johns River , with food and entertainment , on January 9, 2010 at 230 pm. Hopefully we will make out better than the S.S Minow did on thier 3 hour tour! We are renting out the vessel for our event and it will be a private cruise. This event is at no cost for VCA Members , if you would like to bring a guest there is a fee of $41.00 per guest. We would like to get this booked by the end of the week so please RSVP ASAP! We will have security in the parking lot for the cars, while we are on the cruise. Before or after the cruise, we will have a Viper driving cruise somewhere through Central Florida for those who want to stretch-out their cars a bit.

Maria and I look forwared to seeing everyone on the ship and for the cruise and wishing everyone a safe and joyfull holiday.

Sincerely,

John Canal

Also, we are planning on meeting before the 230 pm river cruise, at Route 46 around 930 am for breakfast for anyone that wants to meet before hand. They have a great breakfast there and lots of parking. This is the same place we had the Viper car show this summer, address below.

4316 W State Road 46
Sanford, FL 32771-9005

After breakfast, we will take a Viper cruise through some of Central Florida's beautiful roads, then arrive back at the port around 2 pm, to board the boat at 230 pm. Weather should be fantastic, albeit a little cold. Remember, your V-10's love the cold, they will be making more power, but your tires don't love the cold and they will be a lot less sticky so be careful.. See you Saturday.

John,

This was a great idea for our Christmas Party. A great time was had by all despite "record" low temps. It was, I think, about 35deg when we boarded the ship, cold by central Florida's standards. Nice and warm on board. Great idea hopefully we can do this again when its a little warmer?
