Hood gap?

The gap between the hood and front fascia on my car seems to have gotten worse any trix in fixin her up or just take it to a body shop?? Is this a common prob.

I took mine to my Viper tech as it was getting hard to catch on the driver's side front catch. He not only made the hood alignment worse, but managed to chip a chunk of paint off the facia where it meets the hood.

This is a common problem, but I would take it to a body shop before my Viper tech next time.
