Brendan,
Make sure that you are not reading the tach wrong, as idle speed is very easy to mis-read. If it is low, there is a way to speed it up a bit. I watched our Viper Tech take each throttle body off the engine, one at at time, and there is a small adjustment screw at the back end of the TB. I don't know which way it needs to be turned, but he did each one the same amount of turns. It does not take much adjustment to get your idle speed up, so be careful if you are going to do it yourself. Otherwise, get your friendly local Viper Tech to do it, it will will not take long at all to do, and they have the proper diagnostic computer to check the codes (if any) as well as idle speed, etc. Our adjustment was due to not enough air coming into the throttle body at idle speed if I remeber right. The diagnostic computer even tells you that! turning the screw simply opens the throttle plate a little more.
