I have an up hill driveway and want to buy a Viper but I need to know how many inches of clearance these cars have and is it the same from 1992 to 2001?

Mopar Steve:

I carefully measured the distance from front air dam to ground on my '01 RT10. It is exactly 4 inches, although I need to double check the tire pressure since it was delivered to me (that shouldn't make that much difference, however, it is one of the few variables that I have). Will have to place some 2X8's in the gutter area in order to get it in/out of the driveway - and my is relatively level! Otherwise, scrape, scrape.

How 'bout that! ,Yet another viper owner named Steve! and "mopar steve" at that. I'll have to get an Avatar so that everyone can tell us apart.

My 97 GTS spans 3 3/8" from floor to dam with 35 psi and stock tires.I don't scrape up my driveway if I get the approch angle right.

Try a chin guard if you are worried works well and is simple to fit.

AS I am at work can't remember the company who make and advertise them but they are in the Viper Mag or email me and I will get you the company name.

Check with your town or city hall before changing your curb because it ain't your curb. That is city property.
And if the city property has damaged your car the city has to repair it.
Then the next time the city damages your car the city has to repair it.
etc.
It will take years to have your curb corrected but it's worth $3500 per side sill and a little aggravation.
