Just curious about installing a Hurst short throw shifter on my 06 coupe, how hard are they to install?

Not difficult, but may take you an hour if you take your time. It comes with directions that are "good enough".

well, you start by removing the hood, fenders, and engine. Then, support the transmission, and lift the rest of the car off of it. Its easy as hell at that point! :nana:

But seriously, get some NICE drill bits and take your time. Cobalt works great. DO NOT press hard when drilling, it it may grab and they can spin- then it becomes a lot of fun. Be careful not to slip with the drill, it could be very costly very quick. Good idea to have a vacuum running right next to the rivet you are drilling too, will simplify the majority of the clean-up.

It can be installed from the top, I have not tried through the bottom.
