Let\'s talk about spring rates for street driving. Eibachs are going!
I do not think my car is optimized with its Eibach lowering springs. It is just a little too low for real street driving and too boingy for a racey set-up. I want to go with the Aldan adjustable coilovers (so I can raise the height a little and esternally adjust damping) sold by Roe and get to pick spring rates. They say their standard recommendation for an aggressive street set-up is 400 lbs fronts and 600 lbs rears which they think are a little bit stiffer than stock. Anyone know the stock rates and the rates of the Eibachs? Have suggestions which way to go?
And a related question. Why unlike most cars does the Viper use heavier springs in the rear? Especially given the ability to oversteer.
