License Plate Suggestions

I'll post photos of me picking up my new Viper from Bill Pemberton in another posting soon, but I'm trying to get opinions on which license plate to get.

204 MPH - top speed at 6000 RPM with the Sean Roe supercharger, but the State of Ohio REJECTED that plate as being inappropriate & variations (MPH 204) also rejected.

VIPER, VIPRGTS, and other obvious ones already taken.

My 18 year old daughter's initials are E.A.K. The power of the Viper scares me (EEK!). I'm calling it the EAKMOBILE for now.

EAKVPR or EAKVIPR

EEKVPR or EEKVIPR

She says if I get a plate with EAK on it instead of EEK, then the Viper is her car...

My choice for right now is GTSVIPR

I do some teaching at the local high school. The mascot is an elk, and the school colors are yellow and black (yellow paint, black tires & interior).

ELKITUP (Elk it up)

My daughter's favorite is

LVIPERO, sorta Spanish for El Viper (El Vipero)

Of course, if I sell my '78 Chevy Caprice Classic I can use the plates off of it

EAK 5

Appreciate any/all you suggestions.

I still want 204 MPH - I don't know why it's "inappropriate" - I'm NOT going to go that fast...even if I could...even when I can...

Try: VIPURR That's mine here in Washington, at it gets all kinds of comments, and accurately describes the car.

Take whatever they hand you.The car will draw more than enough attention from people and police officers as it is.No need to add a come lookit or please stop me plate. Bruce

Youse guys are coming up with some really good suggestions! I used the search feature previously, but these are better than the old postings.

Keep 'em coming!

****************************************

Got 15.5 MPG last tank - my truck doesn't get that good of mileage. And I had to pay a $3,000 gas guzzler tax on my Viper.

When the engine doesn't have to be run all over the RPM range - up to 5,000 RPM now - I should see 20+ MPG. On the way home from Nebraska to Ohio I got 22 MPG on a tank where my RPM limit was 4,000.

I wonder if they would allow KZMYASP?
What about CYA Z06 ?Would love to pull into a vette club gathering with that one.

E.A.K., my daughter says...

My 18 year old daughter (who was out with a friend tonight learning how to drive a manual transmission so she can drive my Viper) says I MUST get this plate:

Personally, I think anything "VIPER" is, well, redundant.

Jerome P. Sparich - Go wash your typing fingers with soap!

CarlRspeaks4JustMe - That's great - I discovered I can put spaces in. Unhappily, Ohio still limits the plate to 7 characters and the best things to put on a plate are 8 charcaters.

Bill Pemberton - Good suggestion. I bet with a mind like yours you could make a living selling cars.

USAF BAD ASP - Go wash your typing fingers with soap!

GASDOC - See what GTS Bruce has in his post.

GTS Bruce - Point well taken!

AKViper - Good ones, but I live in Ohio there there are a lot of people driving here who obviously can't read. They don't stop at stop signs and red lights don't mean anything to them, either.

Craig 201 MPH - Good, but too "Vette" like. Most people in Ohio have never even seen a Viper & if they mistake it for a Vette...

JonB - PartsRack - Your 1st one listed would be just about all I'd need...

ruckdr - Someone already has that plate.

jrkermode - I think the Winters there are 8 months long.

2002graphiteviper - I think you are very creative and some are pretty good. You must have a lot of people hate you in brainstorming meetings where you work, though. But I appreciate what you have done.

BobbyP - Good one.

SUN RA KAT - Why are you letting your daughter boss you around and tell you what license plate to get?

Yeah, I have to agree with jonB, I too think the Viper would be redundant. I tried to get a customized tag and it said "4re-kila" it was rejected because I guess the Kila part. I didn't want to mess with it so I got a normal tag. I figure the car speaks for itself.

Sorry Kenny.

If you do not like that than how about the plate I saw from Pa.

NE14SX Yes this was on a girls car. She danced at the bar I use to bounce at.

Consider my fingers washed.

Jerome P. Sparich - If I weren't married, I'd ask you for NE14SX's phone number. Your sense of humor is great! It's a shame that some of your (& other peep's) suggestions would never be approved by the BMV.

steelgts - What about **** U? PHUQUE, *****, etc. Now I have to wash my typing fingers.

Jet Mec & ab - The Ohio BMV reviews all plate requests & even if it passes the computer screening the BMV may reject your choice. My daughter had to appeal to them to get BASSCLF. She had to explain to them that she plays accoustic & electric basses and also plays the bassoon - all musical instruments in the bass clef.

Hey Kenny,

Glad you did not get all bent over my post, just having some fun. Got worried I would upset someone.

As far as NE14SX goes, she is hot and I am single and plan on staying that way. This is so I can enjoy the sweeter things in life if you know what I mean.

37 years old and never had a wife. Lucky me.

Ok now for a real suggestion for your plates.

How about C5 HaHa, VETETR, 4REKLR, or just MV OVR.

Good Luck on choosing.

I was thinking about HIOFFCR or BYOFFCR until I got a ticket!! Then that seemed stupid. I like ZOOOOOM, 4OCOIUS, SMILES, (when you see it on a Viper, you do smile,) VENEMUS, HISSSSSS, BAD ASP, UNCOILED, U S A, SWEET, or IOWEBIG.

HULNASP was available but I have not checked the BMV web site in awhile. I never received a turn down when I checked it when I was trying to decide on mine, ended up with VIPR GTS, redundant but I still think fitting.

What about this, 3M WOl8.

Just think about what the person in front of you sees in the mirror from your front plate.

N.J. will Not let me have this. Somebody figured it out.

VIPR GTS - I saw your beautiful car at the Findlay Cruise In auto show a few weeks ago. The last time I checked the State of Ohio BMV said GTS VIPR is available for a plate.

Kenny the Ohio VCA has a nice gathering for the Findlay show. Next year, be there. Nice people in our club, as on the board.
GTS VIPR, great idea.
