Just like the last one...
Hopefully someone will chime in to tell me the car is in great shape! The poor quality pictures aren't helping me either.

Thanks again

rtalex, I bought my 08 coupe sight unseen from an individual w/1200 miles. It's an individual seller, car has less than 500 miles, ask him all the cosmetic questions. That price is good, if you want that color combo I'd jump on it with buy in now. Good luck

If Greg (85 of 200) can't make it up there I would be happy to go check it out for you. You will need to add a paltry $115 to the price of the car, as that is what it will cost you to join the VCA. :D

I have to disagree with the sight unseen purchase. If one was bought that way and it was good then that is great. But that is pure russian roulette and that is a heck of a lot of money to gamble that way. Just because it has low miles doesn't mean it doesn't have issues or wasn't involved in an issue.

At minimum, if it is long distance, I would contact a local dealer in that area, have them pick it up and give it the once over. I would pay the 2 or 3 hundred bucks to have that done. Money well spent to insure you aren't throwing away tens of thousands of dollars. If the seller refuses to allow that, that in itself is a red flag.

I found my Viper online. I made two trips to look at it, three and a half hours each way. As perfect as they said it was, as great as the pics were, as low as the miles were, as clean as the Carfax was, it still had some things that needed to be addressed. This could not have been done with a sight unseen purchase.

Take advantage of a member looking at it in place of you seeing it if offered. Don't be so blinded by the excited desire to buy a Viper that it overrides common sense. For most of us, a car, especially this type and expense of car is the second largest purchase we ever make, next to a house. You wouldn't buy a house site unseen without checking it out would you?

Like I said, I know others said they have done it and their car was great. Great! They were lucky and took a big risk. Have the car checked out.
