Hey guys,
I have a 2004 Daytona Blue Nissan 350Z. I love this car, but I am looking at getting the car of my dreams. I am looking at the Red/Blue w/ White Stripes GTS. I want to know what I need to be looking for when purchasing or looking at a Viper For Sale. What kind of issues should I be aware of when looking or owning these cars? Can these cars be daily drivers? What kind of performance parts are there for these cars? What kind of service dept people can I expect to work on my car? What kind of 1/4 mile time are these cars still running?

All of these questions are my concerns, so please take your time to answer them for it if at all possible. Also where is the best place to look for Viper's online for sale?

Thanks!

I know that it isn't what you wanna hear but most, if not all, of your questions have been answered on here before. Just try a good search and I'm sure that you will find what you are looking for. GOOD LUCK!!

There are no "issues" to speak of. Those years have forged pistons, (a good thing) they are subject to NGR (Neutral gear rattle) Which is not a real problem, just a function of the rawness of the race car for the street. They do not have ABS, again no big deal, not available till 01 and 02. You need to have a potential sale inspected by a good Viper Tech. Ask around here who is good in your area. Or a fellow owner may be willing to check a distant car out for you. One of the first things you might cosider is calling Bill Pemberton at Woodhouse Dodge in Nebraska, probably the largest dealer in the country new and used. Do a search here under his name, he has an impeccable reputation. He loves to talk Vipers and he can educate you, that's what happened to me and I wound up buying from him sight unseen. They ship nationwide and they are also a Nissan dealer, maybe you can trade the Z in. They advertise on this site.
