True, 65MM only. Gen II had the 70's

I have Accufabs on my 96 RT - they measure 70mm, front of throttle plates, and
65mm, after throttle plates.

They do make 70mm Gen-1 throttle bodies. The throttle body housings taper from 75mm to a 70mm butterfly. A machine shop specially made the ones that I have, but you may find one similar from Apex. When I had these made I took off a set of Accufab 65mm throttle bodies. They were used for 5000 miles and look shinny and new. let me know if you need them.

Half the price of what they go for new should be a fair deal. I did have to re-use the throttle linkage from the original throttle bodies when they were on the car. The new set also came without the linkage. So the 65mm pair will need the throttle linkage from your original set, since I used it on the new throttle bodies.

Why 70 mm? The stock TBO:s are good for a lot of power if the heads and cam are designed correctly.

JP - "Talk what you know" j/k - you can't relate to anything beyoud -
Arctic circle air and NOS - so stock TB's are overkill. ;)

BTW - how's your car doing? Have you dynoed it yet - what #'s are you laying
down.

We did 46 pulls on the dyno last week... we were working on the development of a piggy back system for the Gen1 engines...sweeeet!
My Gen1 pulls 643 flywheel horses and 663ft pound of torque, thats on motor only. That was with the stock computer. I'll let you know the numbers with the Piggy back as soon we are ready with it. Btw the numbers above are with stock intake and TB:s.

10.60 on the strip with my old Gen1 is ok with me :) I'm looking forward to engage the NOS :)

Take Care!
