I’m looking for an inner door stanchion for the driver side door on my 1994 Viper and haven’t had any luck locating one. Any suggestions?

You might have better luck posting down in the gen 1/2 forums. That being said, I think those have been out of production for a while as I feel like I've seen that same request on here before a few times. Viper Parts Rack (Jon B) and Don Scharf are the two places I would probably check first though. Parts Rack got all the old VPA stock, so if there were still any NOS parts in there, they should have it. Don Scharf is a salvage yard that specializes in Vipers, so they might have some good used pieces.

I bought one in September from Viperpartsrackamerica.com OEM but pricey. $271.46. I fixed my door stanchion to not break any more by threading a bolt into the hole intended for the side curtain retainer. The stanchion is now rock solid. The part you’re looking for is thin flimsy plastic and will fail again without this fix

That is one weird mix of cars for a company to make parts for, but awesome that someone is stepping up either way!

Probably cars that the owner has and and making part that he needs, due to scarcity.

How do you know if you need the Large Hole vs Small Hole. Looking at my car that has a broken driver side it appears small hole, but curious if Dodge ever made the Large style or it's aftermarket to fix a fitting / continued break issue?

My passenger side inner stanchion cover has a crack at one of the ***** holes. Being somewhat **** I wanted to replace it. To my surprise I found a supplier on ebay.
(x2 builders) who appeared to be re producing them from the original Mopar molds. As the picture on the listing clearly shows the Mopar logo. It is very pricy a $200 but I was willing to buy it if it was like quality to OEM. Today I received it. The quality of this piece is terrible. There are dimples and blisters all over it. And someone even sanded some of the bad defects around a couple of ***** holes. They must have got in to trouble with Mopar as they have now sanded off the logo. I cannot speak to the fitment but have my doubts. If it was $40-50 I still would not use it on my car. Now I get to pay the return shipping.

If anyone knows of a viper parts company that may still have NOS please let me know.

Thanks.

@GA- Viper.... so did you find any? I was just gonna ask how the fitment of the x2builder is?

Does the door stud fit through the small hole?
