My '01 ACR has a screw at the bottom of the panel in front of the door on each side. (earlier models didn't have screws there) It's basically a 1" long sheetmetal screw with a washer included, the whole thing black in color.

The screw measures 3/16" across the threads with the washer measuring 5/8". Hex head (no slot of any kind) 5/16" wrench size to be specific.

There are bound to be alternatives to replace them with exactly the same thing, but for whatever reason I was kind of hoping to just use the same thing..

Can't find them (need 2) anywhere.

Thanks.. the 2 that were on the bottom are kind of corroded in the thread area-they're the same style hex head sheetmetal screws used on the rest of that panel as it turns out. I think I'm going to have call or email Auveco on them.

I see now that the hex head is 8mm, not 5/16" btw.

I still have my nut setter, and some of rivet nuts left over from doing the '99's sidesill sheetmetal screw replacement thang.. I could always put a couple of the rivet nuts in at the bottom of that panel in front of the door..
