Benefit to me means HP and torque gains. If you are saying you gained 30hp with the belanger system. Do you think in your opinion I would gain that amount with just a cat back, with high flow cats and muffler's? Im just trying to justify getting the belanger headers? I didnt know my 06 coupe came with headers from the factory. Im sure the belanger has a better flow rate, but again is it worth it
I don't believe you can get 30 RWHP out of any cat back system.
I would not get headers unless you are planning on doing head/cam modifications at some point. It's a lot of money and trouble for not much power gain. If you're going to do head/cam mods, then the headers make sense.
I disagree. Many people reading these pages spend/have spent as much, or more money, on totally cosmetic improvements to their car which yield no HP at all. Everybodys wants differ. To me, the auditory effect of the headers is much more pleasing than any cosmetic thing I could do to the car.
As far as trouble to install: We did the car start to finish with a rack and air tools in 4 hours. It was a perfect fit. They've not been touched in 50,000 miles.
