Michigan drag strip recommendation

It's pathetic that I haven't made it out to a track this year. Only a few weeks to go before winter.

I hear so much about the terrible traction at Milan. Would Ubly be better? Anything else better in the area?

Depends where you are in MI. I hear Lapeer has good traction, Stanton is an excellent track. But with temps dropping there isn't alot of time left

Stanton is 25 miles from Ionia/50 miles from Grand Rapids. Next Sunday test and tune is 10am-4pm per their schedule . http://www.midmichmotorplex.com/

I'm told Milan has poor traction, Ubly has terrible facilities, Lapeer same. Mid Michigan Motorplex is the best. Recently redone and the best in the area, not that Stanton is in my back yard but I'm going anyways this Sunday.

Sunday 10-4. I called and they said a RT/10 could run with no hardtop or softtop if it stayed in the 12's. Get in the low 12's and they said they would start worrying.
I-96 West through Lansing to M66 Ionia. North to Stanton.

Sunday is out now...bummer. The next three Sundays are booked too so Stanton is out for me this year. It looks like Ubly or Lapeer next Saturday 18th.
