97 GTS, locked doors last night. Fob was dead this morning. Opened hatch and opened doors that way. Alarm went off and fob is now dead. I did a search but didnt see how to reset the alarm. My phone is dead. Please call me or David at 404-867-7404 if you know how to reset the alarm without a fob. We've put 2 new batteries in the fob, its still dead. Car cranks but immediately dies. I've left a msg. for Tator but he doesn't open until later.

Chad: I called this morning but only got a recording. Left message. In the event you did not get it, the solution is to disconnect the positive battery cable as this will supposedly reset the alarm. Hope it works for you.

open the door to the glove compartment, inside at the top of the compartment is a keyhole. insert the key and turn to reset the alarm.

disconnecting the battery cable will NOT reset the alarm.

Unfortunately, the keyhole inside the glove compartment was not out yet in the '97s. :(

Almost forgot.... How come Chad is always getting stuck with dudes at hotels? :D

He just posted that so he would not get called out. Everyone knows that he is at ******* and the 97 GTS that is locked with the alarm set is code for everyone get down here as fast as you can, but tell your loved ones that you are helping a friend get into his locked car. It is kinda like the bat signal. LMAO. Looking forward to next week end. :)

Thanks guys, we got it. Luckily we were at the hotel with a very nice guy (Ralph) with an 08' ACR who helped us. When we replaced the dead battery in the fob, 1 of the tabs in the remote got bent and wasn't making a good connection to the battery.

And just to brag, I then rode to the track in Ralph's 08' ACR! :D

cyaford, thanks again for nothing :D How many 08' ACR's have you rode in???? :D

Its like 200 degrees here at the track, back to go have some more fun :)

About as many times as you've been on a second date. :D

See ya next Saturday Chad. :2tu:

I go on 2nd dates, its usually the 3rd date before their husbands threaten to get violent :lmao:

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Unless "HER" name was Ashley !!

Last year, a rose was placed on my car. it was NOT by Ashley. A rose was then placed on your car, which WAS done by Ashley. Sounds like "shehe" is your "friend" :crazy2:

C ya'll Saturday!
