Need wheel help --badly

I used something called "Professional's Favorite-No More Wheel Dust" on the polished 5 spokes of my 06 Coupe. About an hour later there was this film on my wheels that would not come off after gentle scrubbing. The wheels were cool when applied . Questions:

1Have I ruined my wheels?
2Any suggestions for getting this stuff off?
3.Any sugeestions for shining the place on my wheels where I scrubbed too hard and dulled the wheel

My only guess would be that it ate into your clear coat. Your wheels have a clear coat over the polished wheel so you really cant polish them out very easliy. Did the product you used say it was clear coat or painted finish safe?? If so, contact the company whose product you used. If it was meant for say chrome, which has a more durable surface, you may be out of luck.
Fortunatley, to refinsh, polish and clearcoat a wheel , the repar at most wheel places is only about $ 150 a wheel. Much cheaper then buying new wheels from Dodge.

The clear is actually a clear powdercoat, it may be very difficult to get the marks out, you can try the same methods you would use on regular clear coat to "polish" the scuff marks out, but it will be tricky
