Mike just picked up a 2004 Black Mamba from me yesterday and there is a very heart felt story behind the purchase of this car. Mike came into my dealership a couple of weeks ago, and I was in my office with the door closed. I saw a couple of guys looking in the window, so I opened the door and two guys came into the shop, this was on a Friday as I remember my wife was there. They came in and Mike told me he was thinking about a Dodge Viper. We started talking and I felt like I was talking to someone who had owned a Viper or was very knowledgeable about the car. Mike and his friend really were intrigued by my die cast collection and the Black and Silver ACR on the floor, so I said guys come on let's take a ride to the Viper Storage area and you can see a few more cars. Well we jumped in my truck and arrived minutes later at the area I keep my Vipers, when I opened up the door the look on there faces was timeless. After looking for a while Mike really liked the 1K mile Mamba on the back which I had taken a deposit on the day before. Ironically I had another car in transport. After Mike looked at the car and sat in it, he told me of his story and Vipers.
Mike lost his Mom to cancer just recently and his wish as a child was to own a Viper, this has been a passion and a dream for him. Mike's Mom before she passed told Mike that she had put money away for him and wanted him to fullfill his life long passion of owninng a Viper. I had the opportunity to meet Mike's dad who was very excited for Mike. I sell alot of cars but this sale was very special for me. Mike picked up the car yesterday and I have included a picture of him driving, the excitment that he has elated is very cool, and I am glad that I could be a part of a dream making it come true. Mike has now become an official VCA member and I hope that you guys will make him feel welcomed here on the boards. Mike if your out there chime in and say Hi! :clap:I am glad that you like the car, but am even more so because of the heart felt story that is associated with this car. I hope you enjoy it for years to come and thanks for sharing your passion and dream with me. This picture looks like Mike is running at warp speed going so fast the wheel is bleeding back, check out the caliper. Mike Enjoy!

That is a cool story congrats to him and his dad for having had such a great lady in their lives
If there were more parents like that the world would be a far better place.

I also lost my mom a few months ago but I will never forget pushing her out in her wheelchair to see my Viper on the trailer. She was about bumper high when she saw it and could clearly see the size of the tires and she was smiling ear to ear. She had no idea of what she was looking at but she knew what it meant to me and that was good enough for her!!! Great thread....Thanks for writing it!:2tu::2tu::2tu:
