Hello
I would like to extend my greetings to all mopar fans out there. I am new to this board, and would like to say what a wonderful site this is. I hope to purchase a viper within the next year or so. I have been reading the FAQ and reading other posts. I have a few questions, but those can wait till another topic
Just a quick introduction, my name is James, i'm currently 19 and I'm a LAN Developer. I will finish my MCSE within a few months. I recently started a company, but still have no idea what to actualy do with it (hehe).
My history with Mopars has been short. I was a GM man since I could walk. I'm no stranger to speed, I last owned a 95' Trans-Am which had less than 20K on the clock. I pulled the stock LT1 and replaced with a ~500 horse LT4 motor, then added a modified P600B series ATI blower to the package. End result was a 650RWHP street stormer. Of course, backed up by a 6spd and strange 12bolt rear ( I see that viper 6spds have the anoying CAGS 1-4 deal too..ugg). I have been building cars for quite some time now.
I recently got into mopars, buying my first mopar - A 'Cuda. It's currently getting a 4spd and aluminum-headed HEMI put in place of that sickly small block and 727. I also picked up a Rust free 383HP 4spd 69 Road Runner.
I have to say, I am most definetly a big Mopar fan now!
Like I said above, I plan on owning a viper within a few years. I make very good money for my age, but will be seting out on my own ventures soon. I was thinking about a 96/97 GTS coupe. Could I get some feedback from owners of these years?
Of course it will be modified, most likely valve train, exhaust and maybe a blower. (very familiar w/ centrifugal blowers).
Well, I've rambled on enough. Just wanted to say hello toall the mopar guys out there, and enjoy your rides! I will have one someday to enjoy with you!
