Interesting...fugly (IMHO) but still interesting. Wonder if they are speed rated and will come in our tire sizes?

Yeah, I've seen those about 4 months ago. I seriously doubt they'll be out "shortly" as Sam Memolo puts it. My guess is 5-6 years at least.

I'm sure they'll end up putting side skirts on them to prevent dirt and mud from building up inside the spokes. If they can pull it off then it would be a giant leap in tire technology.

They'll have to come up with a new name. "Tire" just doesn't fit anymore. How about "wheel wrap" or "wheel shoes"...
