880 CCA actually. Not sure what options you have in UK but here in the states, there are many other choices with the same specs or better AGM batteries for less.

    Peter,

Seeing as that Sam lives in the UK, he probably never sees -18 degrees Celsius or anything near that, all he sees is rain, drizzle, more rain, and banger, mash and a few pints, but not in that order. It was probably 10-12 degrees C there today so he was probably sitting at 1300+ HCA or 1450+ PCHA

It actually does not matter if he sees freezing temps or not, what matters is this is the standard rating which allows you to actually compare batteries instead of going by sales pitch. You know, apples to apples instead of oranges. BTW, cranking amps rating is derived at about 80 degrees, even in California, it gets cold enough where battery is affected by temperature drops. If you are into car audio or boating, you will quickly realize how overpriced this battery is when compared to AGM marine batteries, not to mention very mediocre specs. Smart consumer is one that is at least somewhat educated on the subject.

    Peter,

If Sam was looking to educate people on CCA, I am sure he could, I have spent a few hours on teh phone with him and he is a smart guy,

chance are he just wanted to tell his cranking experience at the temp he was at yesterday, LOL

well, then this is a very meaningful experience to share, especially seeing that claim of 1500 cranking amps.
