On my new 01\' I get throttle peddal vibration at decel and slow speeds..How to fix?

She only has six hundred miles on her, but I get a noticeable feedback chatter from my gas pedal. I secured the throttle linkage on top of the engine (it had come loose) but this did not cure the problem.

Mine is an 01' RT, and I want to know where else to look. It seems like something is loose and transmitting the vibration. Where should I start looking? My 98' RT did not do this behavior. Any suggestions to tighten this up?

Thanks,

Jim

The quick way to fix it is to put a rubber band around the linkage. This allows the linkage to adjust but keeps it from rattling. I used a rubber band made from a 26 x 2.00 mountain bike inner tube. Cut it 5/8 in. wide. Move the pedal assembly all the way forward, then pull the adjusting cam down toward the floor. Slide the band over the cam and move it down to where the throttle cable goes through the foot well. This worked for me and thanks to Chuck Gregg for the idea.
