Fill in your maximum bid where it says "uw *** (=your bid)", and your e-mail address in the space right next to it.
Then click on the "plaats *** (=place bid)" button and the screen will change.
Here, click the "ja, plaats mijn *** (=yes, place my bid)" button and you should be good.
On a side note though, the message also says that the first person to bid €200 or higher will be the winner, so I hope he is willing to go with the highest bidder
If you need more translationing help to contact the seller gimme a holler ;)

Okay,

I found a complete set of SMS cars again.
At least, they look like the SMS cars.
But if you look at the questions asked, it seems like the man built the cars himself. I'll email him to see what he can tell me about it.

Edit:
I spotted some differences on the cars....
The diamond like shiny thing above the numbers are missing. As well as the lights on the roof.
That may be the differences with a kit.

The number 40 car.

Seems like a good auction though.
Good luck!

Other differences are the outer lips of the rims that are completely missing on these newfound models and the back area of the hardtop right at the sports bar area, an ever so slight difference in the shade of paint, splitter under the front bumper, height of the rear wing, decals on the frontmost part of the sidesill (i.e. the eKtor versus Ektor decal), and then probably a host of other things.
Good looking try of that man though :)

you have to be careful as the decal sticker kit are available on french ebay occassionally, to make sure you dont have a home made modified car

Neil,

Is there someway to see differences between a kit and the real thing?
Bburago only made a number of decals, not all are on their sheet.

Also, the number 41 isn't made by them.

If it has a hard top, most likely it is the real thing because they were only available with those if I recall correctly. Other than that, you really have to look at the model and eBay pictures could not do justice.

Thats my thought....
As you look at the pictures above (the last Ebay auction with the set), it seems like they are not 100% original.

The things that are fitted on the car like the little diamond like things above the numbers and the things on the roof are the signs the model is indeed original.

Nevertheless the pictures of the Ebay auction show two good looking cars. But are they worth 120 euro each?

I like this topic. When I find some for sale I'll post em here!

It was funny because people were still fighting over them but you have to keep in mind, this is when people would typically pay a bit more for rare items because the economy was good and many had disposable income. I got out right in time. Now it is pretty hard since it seems the market got pretty small and prices have crashed. I was shocked to see this SMS go that high.
