Picking the right one

I am looking at some still new at dealership 2008 models both are venom red no stripes and at around $80K. Warranty would start from the day it's purchased. Meanwhile there are a couple of silver/black stripes 2009 (10th viper owners badge..) still new in showrooms for around $90K to $95K (These are CND prices).

Is the venom red not a popular color or something? seems strange they are the ones still left going on two years now.

Am I missing something? Would it be better to go after the 2009 for down the road value? Just seems $15K is a bit of premium for more or less the same car and 5 or 10 years down might not make a difference.

The Venom red gets NO LOVE. Their prices have always been way lower. Too bad because its a really beautiful color in person.

As soon as that 08 rolls off the floor it will be worth 60's. You need to neg a better deal. There was a red one on ebay 287 miles for 69k. It did not sell. Keep in mind if you want to add painted stripes 3k. 80's should get you an 09 with 0% fin. If it did not end yet. Best advise do not buy on price. Find the color combo you love. Because in 2 years you will be looking to sell it for the one you really want. Good Luck

MarcRoth: It's CND. Great selection in the USA but Dodge voids warranty on both sides of the border If you try to register a USA car in Canada.
Pythonpete: I agree, it looks great and with future white stripes if I was to buy.
