Hey King:

Thanks for the nice pictures. Did you find any new toys for our Vipers that we haven't heard about yet? Are there any new tuners or manufacturers that are thinking about tossing their hat into the Viper ring?

New Viper toys? Not really, although I haven't talked to Sean Roe since we both got back. I did read a post from him that he did came back with some project ideas for a number of new products. I'm certain anything he comes up with will be good for all of us.

However...... since you asked, I guess I WILL take this opportunity to make TWO big personal announcements, which I hope many of you might be interested in. First, I have a new rear wing design under development. This one I'm doing on my own, without any partnership through Multi-Axis or anyone else. I expect to debut it sometime after the first of the year. Hey, I need to be true to my nickname, but I think you guys are going to like my new "trick" setup anyway.

Second, I've been "dancing around" with EBC Brakes, a British
company, regarding becoming a U.S. distributor for their products for over a year now. I'm pleased to announce that I have finally cemented that relationship, and I sincerely believe that we are eventually going to become to the Viper brake pad world, what Zaino is to the car care area. In partnership with another VCA member, and under one of my existing company names, I am very excited about very shortly becoming a Viper message board sponsor, and beginning to spread the EBC gospel to all of you. As soon as we have full stock, board sponsorship and a web link finished, I'll make a long post and tell everyone the whole story. Stay tuned!

Just thought I would post several pictures of the ONLY Viper I saw at the convention in Vegas. It belongs to the guys at PFME Products in California, who make the "Pre-Chiller". We had a nice visit with Gary and Will at their booth, and the recently painted car on display in one of the hallways was a knockout. Why, it attracted ALMOST as much attention as the 50 customized PT Cruisers.

The folowing picture shows the Chiller and a nice grey powdercoating job on the motor.

Finally, from left to right, here are North Texas VCA members "Zaino Steve" Steve Pasztor (Zaino distributor for the Dallas area), Chuck Slater, and "Wing King" Kingman Hitz, properly saluting that one Viper in attendance!

The wheels are custom built Harts. The white centers are actually enameled. They did not want to do white powder coat on the center sections for several reasons. Call Darren at Wheel Specialists at (602) 968-1314 if you want details about the Harts. I really like them. And NOW, running EBC brakepads, my white wheels no longer get dirty, either!!! And NO MORE SQUEAKING!!!
