Did you have your intake port matched prior to installation? If so, what was your expectation as to what the benefit would be? :usa:

Didn't have it done because I was one of the first to have the Roe S/C installed and it wasn't available at the time. I do plan on having it done in the future when I also have ported heads, cam, forged pistons, etc. installed. After that will come increase the boost, improve fuel system, and intercooler. I think with all the other mods, especially ported heads, the matched intake would be worth while. For anything less, I'd call Sean Roe and ask him directly.

Shelby you're an addict in every sense of the word, I think you need to put your car in the shop again so you'll appreciate what you've already got. Just kidding, I have no serious input on the matter other than "your a maniac"! :2tu:

There is a lot of material there that needs to be removed. I have a new combination with a set of ported heads, ported lower intake, and a 10 pound pulley to try here shortly. I won't be able to compare it to a unported lower, but I would venture to say there is 30 horsepower there waiting to be used. With a big set of heads and a ported lower the boost numbers may be harder to reach, but I bet the cfm of air flow is greatly increased. You may lose some bottom end, but the HP numbers over 4000 rpm should go up...but that is what nitrous is for on the bottom. Hey shelby, lets try to keep this quiet...this could be a edge on some of these other guys. Ha Ha Ha. I am going to pull the blower apart next and port the housing to see what is left there. I have ported Kenny Bell blower housings and picked up 40 HP before. I have never looked at the inside of Sean's, so I don't know if it worth the trouble or not...we will see.
Later,
Joe

Actually I'm only 17 years old and I'm trying to explain to my dad (who buys me all my toys) why I'm getting "boost creep" with my current set up he just paid for. I thought it may have to do with a restriction at the intake/head ports. For some reason I'm getting 10lbs. of boost with what should be an 8lb. pulley. Looking for inputs from other Roe owners for their experiences. :usa:
