Sounds like you are going to need new tires if you are planning to drive the car a bit.

Also the price is a bit high. I would offer in the high $30's as well.

96 R/T 10,
Nice car! I especially like the power windows, ABS and cruise control.

BobK,
Of course we all know what you are saying and it all boils down to being less than truthful in answering the questions from the newbie.

As far as not being able to estimate the value of a car without seeing it,
You bought your 94 five years ago. It had only 800 miles on it and you paid $45k. So, a perfect 94 was worth $45k five years ago. Do you think that your 94 has gone up in value since you bought it? Well, do you?
What you would be willing to sell it for has nothing to do with what the car is worth.
The fact that it has 800 miles compared to some other car with 8k miles means nothing to someone who wants to drive the car. They are both very low mileage cars. Neither is a museum piece.

The fact remains, you are encouraging owners to talk up the Viper and to avoid revealing what we might know when we see someone paying too much for a car.
If we do that, people will see through it sooner or later.

I like the "Passenger Airbag"! Having owned a 94 RT, this must have been an option in 95!! LOL :)

If your going to sell a car, at least get the basics correct! shesh

Bob - good points, I am looking for a well maintained '94. Your post made me feel comfortable that even at 42K, I am not making a mistake. I feel the car's condition is worth the price.
