I just had my power steering motor replace and checked the fluid level this morning and it’s over the “H” mark. The car is cold and although neither the owners or service manual tell you what the “H” means but I assumed it means HOT, “as in when engine is hot”. The manual does say never over fill.

Has the Viper tech over filled the new power steering reservoir?

I got a hold of the Dodge dealer and the Viper Tech, and found out that my assumptions were correct, and they did grossly overfill the new power steering reservoir. [******]

Which means it was also overfilled at the dealer in NC, for my trip back to FL:-(

It’s funny, because after talking the Viper tech that day in WPB, I beat myself up for not tipping him $40-$50, for doing, what I hopped, was a good job.

It’s know big deal for me to get the extra oil out, it just ****** me off that I can’t trust these guys to do the job right the first time.
