Some of the track rat community in Colorado may not be aware of PMP being available for use (open lapping days).
The facility is under new management and is recently been re-paved.
The entrance road still *****.......but the track is killer!
I did a lapping day today (6/8/13), and was surprised to be 1 of only 5 cars the whole day.
HPR lapping days I have attended have usually been kinda crowded and have to be spilt into sessions to accommodate the traffic.
It is nice to have an 'open track' with few other cars every once in a while. (felt like a private test-n-tune day for me)
But, hopefully for the track, attendance will improve. -we need to use these local tracks or they will not be around due to lack of support.
The PPIR open lapping days that I have done seemed light in attendance as well.
............I just don't get it.
I love HPR as much as anyone else, and have more days there than anywhere else combined, but that is only because there hasn't been anything else available ,.....until now.
Not trying to pull business from HPR, but just saying that there are now more places to run our cars.
