Pulling gts hood down

Bernie at BJ motors just recently dropped off my brothers rt/10. While I had him there I had him look at my front fascia. The hood is 3-5mm higher and I want to get it perfect (if possible). Bernie said the fascia can't go any higher so the hood has to come down a little. The rubber bumpers are as low as they go and don't even touch anymore. Therefore I think I need to the latches to pull down lower.

Anyone know how to go about doing this?

Yes, adjust them by moving the latches higher.
Sounds odd but its true...
Mark where they are now.
Loosen the two bolts on either side of the LOWER latch and start experimenting.
Too check that all is well, when closed and latch, gentle pull up at either side wheel well to test. It should be rock solid.

If this is true i will be very happy. I have been trying to lower my hood (where it meets the facia) by lowering the latches. They can't get any lower and the hood is still too high. Don't sound right but I will definetely try!
