Purner 19\'s - When/will they come in 18\'s?

I like the new Purner 19 inch split 5 spoke. Anyone know if there are plans to make this same wheel in 18 inch?

John says it won't happen. Apparently the initial tooling costs would be big $$ and it doesn't make sense for him to make 18's. Sad because I'd love to have a pair to put drag radials on. :(

How about starting a list with those who would commit to buying a set?
Just those people who know they would, not those sitting on the fence.

I would definitely buy a set as well, but I think John said the up front money would be something like $50k, so I'm guessing it would take a lot of sales to be worth it. Especially at the price he sells them. Heck everyone could kick in another grand a set over what he's charging and still be way less than HRE's, and that would certainly lower the number of sets required.

I would definitely buy them in 18". I have the same issue with HREs. I'd like a set of 545s or 547s in the Reverse lip but they evidently won't make them for the same reason. I think both companys are missing the boat by under estimating the 18" market. Guess I'll stick with stock which I like anyway. :smirk:

I think the stock 18's are VERY nice for stock rims.
