I had BM3's on before and they were the same for both the inboard and outboard brake pad. I am putting these OEM's on and was wondering which way they should go since they have an angled edge on one side and a tab on of the pads. The picture shows the one with the tab. The other is the same but w/o the tab.
Should the tabbed pad go on the inside or the outside of the caliper?

Tab goes on inboard side of caliper. If placed on outside it can rub on some aftermarket rotors like Stoptechs. Tab is actually pad wear indicator. When pads wear down enough the tab rubs the rotor making a noise that tells you the brake pads need to be replaced.
