I've been working on my '94 RT/10 for a little while now. I was planning to just replace the thermostat and the hoses, but the radiator was crap.

Hoses: Silicone hoses from Roe, awesome. Fit perfect and look great. It will be nice not to worry about rotting hoses. I also replaced all the heater hoses with stock ones.

Radiator: I got a nice 3-pass/2-core aluminum radiator from Alan's Performance (404-583-8051) earlier this week and am really impressed. The weight is WAY less than the stock chunk of steel and it fit great. I had to trim the shroud a little, but that was pretty simple. The drain plug opening is much beefier than the stock one. Many people gave me less than encouraging reviews on the Fluidyne, so I found this one.

Fan: Alan got me this too, off a 2001 VIPER, so a big upgrade for me.

I'll post up more pics once I get it running.

Quick question on the Gen II's cooling system. Wondering if anyone has had any significant overheating issues with the standard factory system or it's components.

I'll be picking up a 98 RT/10 here in Florida next week and have a feeling that in August I'm going to find out first hand any problems that are inherent with the system then.

Also would most agree that the standard operating temp is around 190'

Awesome...Thanks for sharing...I have been considering upgrading the cooling system in my 95 for some time now...I was advised that a radiator upgrade would NOT really do much for the temperature...and that its totally okay and normal for the car to get hot in traffic/summer....I would love to know what the temp difference is before and now...in the traffic and heat combo....Please let us know! :2tu:
