Ran into an RT/10...

Hey people, I'm new to the boards here, so a quick intro...

I'm 20 and have been in LOVE with the Viper since I first saw it on an episode of "married with children". I currently drive a black 2004 Dodge SRT-4, but hope to own a Viper one day.

Anyways, I wanted to post this cuz I was hoping the guy I ran into would see it. I was cruising down I-275 southbound in St. Pete passing Tropicana Feild when I noticed a red RT/10 ahead . I caught up to him, gave him the thumbs up on the car, and started to continue on my way. I saw traffic was opening up ahead so I backed off and got back beside him. He must have known what I wanted cuz he pointed fwd and gave it some gas....all I can say is DAMN! I hit it too to see what would happen...it was like I wasn't even moving! I figure the guy was in town for the meet at Bradenton this weekend...didn't get the tag, so can't be sure...was too busy drooling.


Oh, and btw, I'm also on SRTforums and saw your ownage of that Eleviaton(sp?) guy...nice job!

Hahaa - reminds me of the first time I saw one...

Pulling out of a golf club in Connecticut and this badass machine blows by me. Pinning the gas in my Cavalier I finally caught up to him...I drooled too, and from then on couldn't stop thinking about them. Borderline obsessed! The image never left my head of how low & wide they are...i knew i had to get one!

I was hooked too....first time I saw an RT/10, I was vacationing in the mountains with my modded C5 Vette. As I start up a hill, down comes a Viper, went by quick and looked wild....but the deep sound of the beast penetrated right through my car. I thought.....damn... a Viper!

Second time I caught up to one on my way home from work, and thought what a wild looking thing.....flat as a pancake with rubber stretching across the entire lane. So the guy punches it, and it leaps forward each time like a slingshot at 70 mph!

Third one was the GTS I bought.......walked around it a few times in the crowded exotic showroom, and couldn't comprehend the total shape and beauty at that time, cause I was so close to it. Others came in and made a bee-line for it. The salesman said they just got it and it wouldn't be there past the weekend. I believed him and bought it on the spot. Hehehehe!

iran into my 99 silver rt while at the dealership picking up my wife's serviced durango. it hypnotized me. they even took off the 15K ADM thing and decent trade on my ws6 conv. Caught hell at home @ 6 months. Sooooo worth it.

Yup, I remember that "Married with Children" episode. I wish that I could see it again!
