All cars sold in Europe have, by law, rear fog lamp.
On the Viper where is the light located?
I know that it is in the brake, tail light cluster but is that a separate light just below where here we have a reflector, or is that incorporared in the main brake/tail lights.
I think that it is may be a question that Nadine could answer.
Thanks.
Luc.

Not sure of UK spec cars, mine being US spec is supposed to have
at least one fitted to pass a yearly government test. Some attach
a temporary fog light to get a certificate then remove it hoping they won't get stopped by the police. My friendly garage, doesn't
notice mine's missing when it goes in for a test.

Max. height for lamp 1000mm
Min. height 250mm
Preferred on (our) offside or center line
If not in the same body as the lights the lamp must be 100mm away No requirement for size or wattage The lamp must be switchable independently of the brakes.

We don't get the fog's like we used to, so I'm told by the old ones. Two rears are standard on new, although a few smaller vehicles get away with one.

Hi Chaps,

On my Viper which is a European Model (delivered to GR)I have two rear fog lights on the upper row both inside units are fog.

Hope this helps, perhaps we should arrange a European Meet.
