Remember the Viper vs. the Z4?

Well, here is a Viper (yes, I know a Gen II) vs. a GT3 cup car. The Gen III is an even better platform, yet the Z4 is supposed to be better???

While that is an impressive Gen 2, I don't think it's stock, so the results don't really mean that much when trying to gage the performance of a stock Gen 3. I still believe the results of the Top Gear test were completely manipulated and would love to see a true, unbiased comparison. Having owned a 2002 M3 and now owning a Gen 3 Viper, I find it impossible to believe that Z4M could even come close on a road course.
