removing plastic seat inserts??

has anyone ever, or does anyone know how, to remove the plastic pieces on the seat back, below the headrest? i tried just pulling, but they didn't move much, and i don't want to break it.

why do you want to remove them? I am most likely wrong but I would think they are glued in place with Contact cement. Call vaszano and ask him. He advertises in the back of the VCA magazine.

considering painting them. not sure who "vaszano" is, but will look in Viper magazine.

A few months ago I wanted to take the pieces off and paint them a metallic silver. Wound up getting the SS covers that sticks on over them.

If you want a different color than SS you could paint the pieces before installation.

did you ever get them off? i thought about the ss covers, but i'm "personalizing" my interior, and want to paint them.

No-I just ordered the add on's. As mentioned you could paint the ss add on's any color you want. They go on perfect and ,I think, look very good.
