I washed the RT/10 yesterday. Today I went out to wax, polish, and so forth, and noticed this discoloration on the rotors. They are new, installed only a few weeks ago. Anyone else experience this? Is this a normal chemical reaction? What can you guys advise...

Have you tried few good hard stops to clean em up? Interesting that the discoloration stops at the outermost part of the rotor; have no idea what causes the outer edge to be clean and the inner bits to be brown.

I would suspect that the uneven discoloration is because they are not flat and some areas have been glazed and others not. The glazing will protect from rust.

Like Drumr said, get out there and get 'em hot a couple of times so they can rust all over like they should.

Thanks guys. I assumed the answer was simple. I haven't had the car out since I washed it yesterday. Ill check it after I take it out.
