im installing a teamtech six point and when i removed the rear t-panel i noticed the security system switch wire to the glovebox was not even connected (to the glovebox end). so, ive had this buggy for four years and never had a problem therefore; is there any detriment to not having this thing connected?? should i leave well enough alone and simply leave it unattached? whats the exact purpose of this "feature" and what do i not have the privelage of enjoying if i do not have this option? should i expect any unforseen problems like not being able to start my car someday?

Not needed unless of course you want to start your car someday with a dead FOB.

Alarm activated and no /dead FOB, this switch is the way you get home as it deactivate the alarm and activates the fuel pump.

96 & 97 Vipers don't have this nice option.
