What is the typical size driver that uses this seat, and where you able to use
the stock mounting points?

Also, if anyone has one for sale....I am interested.

One other Q: the guys that have installed them, did you use the side mount bracket, or bottom mount?

Also with a bottom bracket are these seats stationary and non adjustable?

Will this seat work with a roll cage? (some are too wide)

Bugeater... we are on the same track...looking to replace seats.

Call Bobby Archer! They sold me my EVO2 seat and custom brackets that the side mounts bolt to. The brackets that bolt to the floor (custom brackets) are expensive for what you get but are custom bent to fit in our cars. I am 6'4' and 220 and fit perfectly in the seat. The EVO2 is 1.5" wider than the EVO which I can not fit in. My seat will not be adjustable. However, I think that Sparco makes a kit that allows adjustment. I have yet to install the seat. Just got my roll bar yesterday from BTR. That roll bar will allow the seat to go all the way back. The Autoform bar does not. Hope this helps. Again, call Bobby. Oh, you will need to trim the left seat wing (seat cover comes off and you trim the plastic)so the door will close.

Thanks...so the side mount bracket is required in order to mount the seat to the floor...I needed your explanation to figure that one out!

No Sparco bracket will match up to the stock Viper mounting hole location. On the race cars, we've had to custom fabricate mounts and then could use the Sparco slider mechanism.

It sounds like Bobby has a side mount bracket that WILL align the stock Viper mounting holes to your seat.

And the seat is too wide in the "wing" area, so some modification will be required.

Janni, I dont think I need a slider option since the damn seat will be pushed back as far it will go against the autoform rollbar.

I talked to Bobby and he suggests getting the steel side brackets and welding the head of the bolt on the bottom of the L bracket, and then tightening the seat down with nuts on the underside of the car. After you drill the new holes
for seat placement.

Is this what you did?
