I had the 18 speaker premium package in my old Viper and my new one has the base 12? speaker. I miss it and want that again, does anybody sell them or know the process to put these in? Or even if there's something better.

Below is some information on upgrading your Gen V speaker system from 12 to 18 Speakers:

Upgrading to HK 18 speaker if you have 12 speaker sys to start Boiled down list​

Not to beat a dead horse into the ground...but I went through all the posts, parts lists and summarized the parts needed to do the 18 speaker Harman Kardon updgrade. If you order the kit #82213535 (approx $450) you will end up with an extra speaker (center dash) and an extra subwoofer (behind seat). In addition to that kit, you have to order 2 subwoofer encosures which is about $100 for the pair.

Here's the boiled down version of exactly (or what I think is exactly) what's needed to do the upgrade. You'll save about $200.00 going this route. I'm assuming the subwoofers have speakers within them and they are counting those as well +2. I added an extra nut and screw to the list...just in case. If someone notices that I missed something...let me know.

The pricing is from 3/2019 but the parts were available as of last year when I did the upgrade myself. Depending on your build you may need four Subwoofer enclosures. My 2014 only needed two as the Subwoofers that were factory installed already had the enclosures. Later builds had the enclosures deleted.
