As long as you're reading - I have a Gen I and want to upgrade brakes w/o having to go to 18" wheels - any recommendations?

Dave --

What exactly do the speed bleeders do and are they compatible with a 2008 Viper? Thanks.

They keep air from being drawn into the brake system while doing a fluid flush.

An excellent upgrade. I'll have to get around to ordering some.

Hey Chuck,

Thanks for the comments, it makes it a one man operation when bleeding your brakes.

03-08 Vipers use the same calipers:2tu:and have the same bleeders.

Speed bleeders are awesome. Makes bleeding brakes a one man job. Install them, then just crack one side open and start pressing the brake pedal. Like mentioned above, the only thing you have to do is keep an eye on fluid level and top off.

The design doesnt allow air back in, so you dont need someone tightening the bleeder back up while you pump the pedal.
