I purchased my car with 3:73 gears and I'm going back to the stock ratio. The car's speedometer reads correctly so I'm assuming it has this box installed. When I go back to stock I guess I'll have to take it off. Problem is, I don't know where it's supposed to be or what it looks like. Can someone post a pic to help me out? Thanks in advance! PS. can the speedo be controlled by VEC 2?

The box is called a dip switch box. It may be lcated near the firewall, or behind the dash or down by the driver side kick panel. It is about 1"x2"x3" black box as I remember. I'm not sure what the setting would be for the 3.07 gearing, but it is easy to do once you locate the box. Someone on the board may have the chart to set the dip switch for different gearing. Tim
