We recently did some mild changes to a SRT-10 track car with good results. We used the comp coupe camshaft, controller, and exhaust. The heads were given a stage one port job (stock values, intake pocket port) we put in the earlier non-bleed down lifters and chromoly pushrods. Stock compression rocker arms, intake and exhaust manifolds. Power went up across the board and peak power and torque numbers increased 63 and 59 at the wheels. Good usable power increases from 2500 rpm up.

Hi Dan,

I havent had much time yet this year to dig into my SRT...been busy with a couple other projects. However, I curious to find out why exactly DC used bleed down lifters on the SRT? My SRT has NOISY lifters already, as do most others I have seen. My GTS was also noisy, come to think of it. do you know of any aftermarket companies that manufacture better lifters than stock? I havent run accross any yet.

I am considering doing a similar setup to what you are running, with a few alterations- interesting to see how it turns out.

-more agressive cam (than even comp coupe)
-VEC-2
-Stock headers
-B&B Header back w/cats
-K&N's
-Chromoly pushrods
-Ti retainers
-new valve springs -(any suggestions?)
-non bleed down lifters, better than stock hopefully (again, any suggestions?)
