my tech says removing the stock exhaust is extremely difficult. others have said it is rather easy. what have those of you with experience found? i have been told to spray prior to starting all of the joints and all of the nuts and bolts with wd40 or similar product. i then just need to loosen all the nuts and use a dead blow rubber mallet and tap the pipes apart.
thanks

Very simple...except for the removal of the crossover pipe.

The nuts are incredibly difficult to get to and even when loosened mine refused to budge. I'd sprayed it, nudged it, tapped it with a rubber mallet, it was not going to budge.

Rich was right on the money when he mentioned the sawz all. If you want to remove it in pristine condition then don't do it yourself.

At least that was my experience.

Dirk989 is right...Very simple. One suggestion wear mechanics gloves as there are some very sharp edges under there. I installed a Corsa Track my self and looked like I had been in a fight with a bobcat(still healing)when I was done. WD40 and rubber mallet a must to remove crossover. A lift also helps.
