During a high speed run the other day while a young stevie windwood was cranked on 35 my upper sub vent popped off(scared the living beejeesus out of me at 120.) Well I didnt put the cover back on early enough and low and behold my 3 year old and 2 year old girls thought it would be funny to drop change and what not down the vent tube. Now when I am rolling with my bass turned up I get mass distortion from only what I can assume is 1 tolls worth on the Chicago Skyway.
I just pulled the grills off, removed the hex screws and it appears that I need to remove the entire back panel behind the seat. Is this correct? Does anyone have an easier way of removing the vent tube?
I await your answer with a beer in one hand and a screwdriver in the other.

I'll check the manual, but if the back needs to come off, it's easy. Pop the panel hatch under each hoop. Then two bolts inside holding each hoop -- the hoops then slide out. Finally, then two screws behind each seat.
